Hiya, various and sundry blog-viewer types!

I’ve been extra-busy lately, so forgive the lack of news here on the ol’ website. Doing lots of writing for the House of Mouse and also in rehearsals for a show …

Speaking of which, that show opens THIS WEEKEND (Friday, February 26) and runs through March 26 – it’s “I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE,” and it’s at the Elite Theatre Company in Oxnard, CA. (It’s a bit of a commute, yes -- but it’s a cool location right on the Channel Islands harbor.) I was lucky enough to co-star as “Woman 1” when the Elite first did this long-running Off-Broadway musical back in ’08 … and now, I’m getting the chance to sink my teeth into “Woman 2” with an entirely different cast! It’s been a fun ride, and I’m looking forward to unleashing the hilarity onto an unsuspecting Ventura County audience.

(Oh, and don’t forget: I’m still interested in theatrical, commercial, and VO representation in Los Angeles. Are you an agent? Looking for as-yet-untapped “character actress” triple[ish]-threat talent with a side of snark and lunacy? Hit me up!)

There are some fun auditions on the horizon -- hopefully at theatres that are a little easier to access. ;) Stay tuned …

Dearest reader(s)!

Sorry for my recent absence … I’ve been hard at work at the House of Mouse, taking a little bit of a break from performing. I definitely miss it -- and there are some shows on the horizon! -- but it’s been very nice to have the time to get acclimated to an office gig … plus, I’ve been able to actually SEE a lot of great theatre lately. (Shout out to the insanely amazing “CARRIE THE MUSICAL” at the Los Angeles Theatre, downtown, and the fantastic recent productions of “RENT” and “THE BAKER’S WIFE” directed by the man/myth/legend Richard Israel! Speaking of Richard, we actually just celebrated the one-year anniversary of "110 IN THE SHADE" winning the Ovation Award for Best Musical: Intimate Theatre [and Richard winning for his fabulous direction of "Floyd Collins" at La Mirada]. Such ridiculously fun memories.)

Anyhoo, I vow to offer up some fun theatrical news in the very near future. In the meantime, let’s all revel in the blessedly cooler temperatures that have finally descended upon SoCal … and, if I don’t “chat” with you beforehand, have a most fabulous Thanksgiving!
